About Robert & Michael

Houston native Robert T. Gibson is a conductor, educator, and clinician who desires to develop future music educators for the next generation. He has held middle school, high school, and collegiate positions and has served as guest clinician in Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Tennessee, and New York. Robert currently resides in Springfield, MO where he is the director of choirs at Reed Academy and adjunct professor at Missouri State University. Gibson received a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Music at Missouri State University. He will begin Doctoral studies at the University of North Texas in fall of 2022. Michael Engelhardt is a songwriter and choral composer on a mission to make a positive impact on people’s lives. His work has been featured on ABC, NBC, PBS, and NPR broadcasts, the Carnegie Hall stage, and national conferences of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and the Jazz Education Network (JEN). He has numerous choral works published by Walton Music (GIA) and Hinshaw Music in addition to his self-published catalog. Michael holds degrees from Millikin University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and currently lives in St. Louis, MO.
